As rodas de 19” presentes no Volvo XC40 2020 tanto nas versões Momentum quanto Inscription não roubam o conforto dos ocupantes tampouco emitem barulho de rolagem para dentro do habitáculo. Aliás, palmas para o ótimo isolamento acústico do interior. Com tantas qualidades, não é à toa o XC40 2020 irá incomodar os rivais alemães. TAMBÉM HÍBRIDO Assim como os irmãos XC60 e XC90, o Volvo XC40 ganhou uma variante híbrida. Como já dissemos, ela entra no lugar da configuração XC40 T5 R-Design e utiliza um motor de três cilindros turbinado associado a propulsor elétrico. Estão disponíveis 182 cv de potência e 27,02 kgfm de torque, enquanto o propulsor elétrico entrega 83 cv e 16,31 kgfm – ele sozinho é capaz de oferecer uma autonomia de até 47 km. O XC40 eletrificado chega em boa hora, pois, segundo o fabricante, a previsão para este ano é de que 43% dos Volvos vendidos no Brasil sejam híbridos. Ao contrário dos irmãos maiores XC60 e XC90 T8, o XC40 híbrido não possui tração nas quatro rodas por conta do motor elétrico estar instalado no eixo dianteiro.
